– fresh salmon (Fresko duh !)
– Onion (any kind red or brown)
– Chilli (optional); and,
– A whole lot of citrus (orange, lemon, mandarin etc)
– Coconut including the juice.
Cut the salmon into smalls squares and mix all of the ingredients into a bowl (there is no hard rule as to what you can put in).
Ensure the salmon and all of the other ingredients are covered by lemon/lime/orange juice as this will “cook” the salmon.
Once the salmon is no longer opaque you ceviche is ready !
